Hi there 👋
Engineering Manager and hands-on backend engineer with 13+ years of experience building distributed platforms, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise data systems at scale. Combines deep technical expertise with organizational leadership across platform engineering, data engineering, cloud modernization, and Agentic AI systems.
Leading 15 engineers across 2 feature teams while driving platform modernization, cloud transformation, and Agentic AI initiatives. Passionate about scaling teams, driving technical vision, and engineering excellence while staying hands-on with architecture and emerging technologies.
What I'm interested in
I'm drawn to product development, startups, distributed systems, and side projects—especially opportunities where ideas evolve into products, systems operate at scale, and learning happens through building and shipping.
Over the past few months, I've also been exploring agentic capabilities in engineering execution, building programmatic agents that address real business problems and automate meaningful engineering workflows.
What I'm focused on
- Led rollout and adoption of GitHub Copilot and Claude across engineering teams; trained developers on AI-assisted development workflows and established AI-enabled SDLC practices, resulting in ~70% AI-assisted code generation.
- Led design and production delivery of Agentic AI solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, MCP, AWS Bedrock, and AWS Lambda with multi-model support.
- Architected and delivered an NLP-powered SQL Agent enabling natural language-driven query generation and analytics workflows, improving self-service capabilities for business and operations users.
- Built Data Job Failure Intelligence — an AI-powered diagnostics service for automated root-cause analysis of EMR / EMR Serverless job failures using LLM-driven reasoning, reducing troubleshooting effort and MTTR.
- Design and architecture of EMR Serverless adoption to handle ad hoc data transformation and extraction requests.
- Migration of large monolithic applications into modular monolith and microservices architectures.
